My little tricksters loved making these Sprinkle Donut Pumpkins this year!
We painted mini pumpkins pink, dark brown, and white and added rainbow sprinkles on top.
They look just like donuts and my husband even took them in a bakery box to work and tricked everyone!
What you need:
- 4-6 mini pumpkins
- 3 tubes of acrylic paint in bright pink, dark chocolate, and white
- rainbow sprinkles
- bakery box, for display
- foam brushes
Directions:
- Remove the stems from each pumpkin.
- Paint the pumpkins completely in each solid color.
- While still wet, add rainbow sprinkles to cover the tops of each pumpkin completely.
- Let dry then place in a bakery box for display.
These pumpkins are fun to make for
When painting with acrylic paint I always use disposable tablecloths, paper plates for paint, and paint shirts or aprons for the kids.
It really cuts down on the mess and clean up!

My loves always paint their own pie pumpkins every year.
