Spaghetti Stuffed Garlic French Bread
Makes 4-5 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 23 oz jar RAGÚ® Homestyle pasta sauce {I used Homestyle Thick and Hearty Mushroom Sauce}
- 1/2 box {8oz} spaghetti pasta
- 1 cup Mozzerella cheese shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese cubed
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tbsp parsley finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add spaghetti noodles and cook according to the package, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Add Ragu Homestyle sauce and cubed cream cheese to the pot with the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine and melt cheese.
- Slice about 2 inches deep through the top of the bread, and continue to cut a large rectangle, being careful not to cut through the bottom of the bread.
- Remove top of bread and hollow out middle to create a rectangular bread bowl. Place both the cut loaf and the top piece, side by side, on a baking sheet.
- Spoon spaghetti mixture into prepared French bread and top with shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 tbsp chopped parsley, and 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese.
- Brush melted butter all over the top of the bread and the sides of the cut loaf.
- Sprinkle the top loaf with garlic powder, remaining parsley and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Slice spaghetti filled bread and garlic bread loaf into servings and serve together.

I choose the Thick and Hearty Mushroom Sauce for this recipe but any of the other four Homestyle RAGU sauces would be delicious.
Cook spaghetti according to the package, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Add RAGU Homestyle sauce to the drained pasta in the pot.
Then add cubed cream cheese.
Toss to combine and melt cheese.
Start with a large loaf of French bread.
Slice about 2 inches deep through the top of the bread, and continue to cut a large rectangle, being careful not to cut through the bottom of the bread.
Remove top of bread and hollow out middle to create a rectangular bread bowl. Place both the cut loaf and the top piece, side by side, on a baking sheet.
Spoon spaghetti mixture into prepared French bread.
I use fresh chopped parsley, garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese,
and melted butter to top the bread.
Top the spaghetti with shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 tbsp chopped parsley,
and 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese.
Brush melted butter all over the top of the bread and the sides of the cut loaf.
Sprinkle the top loaf with garlic powder, remaining parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Slice spaghetti filled bread and garlic bread loaf into servings and serve together.
My kids loved the garlic bread sticks
and dipped them in a bowl of extra RAGU Homestyle sauce.
This Spaghetti Stuffed Garlic French Bread is covered in three cheeses and baked to perfection.
How can you go wrong?
As always, my girls loved their spaghetti and crusty baked bread.
I served extra sauce on the side to dip.
Luckily, my kid’s aren’t messy eaters so it was easy clean up!
Who am I kidding?! But at least they ate their dinner and enjoyed themselves!
