Summer is almost here and I wanted to create a fun, over the top frozen drink to celebrate.
I love anything and everything S’mores {have you seen my S’mores Dip and my S’mores Mug Cake?} so I thought why not make an ultimate S’mores Milkshake?! When my friends over at Chila ‘Orchata sent me a few bottles of their Cinnamon Cream Rum, I knew it would be perfect for an adult version known as the Boozy S’mores Milkshake. I like to serve mine in a chilled jumbo mason jar {big enough for two!} and go all out with homemade marshmallow whipped cream, toasted marshmallows, chocolate bars, a cookie straw, a mini bottle of Chila, and a graham cracker rim. This unforgettable drink will satisfy your sweet tooth and I guarantee you will crave it all summer long!
Of course this shake is darn good booze free too!
I made a kid friendly version with extra milk in place of the rum and it was delicious and decadent!

First, the marshmallow whipped cream.
The trick for fast whipped cream: a super cold bowl and mixer and cold heavy cream.
Chill a mixing bowl and mixer attachment in the freezer until ready to use.
Remove bowl and mixer from freezer and add heavy cream, marshmallow fluff, vanilla,
and sugar to the bowl.
Mix on high until soft peaks form.
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Now time for the milkshake!
Spread marshmallow cream on the rim of the mason jar and/or glasses.
Dip and roll into the graham cracker crumbs to coat.
Coat the entire rim and set aside.
I used Chila O’rchata Cinnamon Cream Rum in this recipe. It has a delicious graham cracker flavor {see where I got my S’mores idea now?} and blends perfectly into the milkshake.
In a blender, add ice cream, milk, and Chila O’rchata.
Blend until smooth.
Drizzle inside of mason jar with chocolate syrup.
Pour the milkshake into the jar.
Top with mounds of marshmallow whipped cream.
Now time for the toppings.
Toasted marshmallows are a must!
You can add them to a skewer or just place on top of the pillowy whipped cream.
Drizzle with more chocolate syrup on top and add a cookie straw, mini chocolate bars, toasted jumbo marshmallows, and graham crackers on top.
Since this is a boozy shake I added a upside down mini bottle of Chila ‘Orchata too!
This monster of a shake is meant to be shared….or you can pour into two smaller 16 oz glasses.
Be sure to check out Chila O’rchata for more info and recipes.
