This Chocoholic Peanut Butter Pie is the stuff dreams are made of! Homemade Oreo crust, smooth peanut butter filling, rich chocolate
ganache, and finally decadent peanut butter cups sprinkled on top!
Today I am participating in a fun event with the #FoodBloggerLove group. We are doing a Valentine’s Day post swap with another blogger. I was assigned to show some blogger love to Nichole from Cookaholic Wife. Nichole lives by the motto cook, bake, enjoy. We are both fans of making lists and being beach bums and we also love dessert especially peanut butter and chocolate! So I created this Chocoholic Peanut Butter Pie inspired by Nichole’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge {and with a play on her blog name :wink, wink:}.

You can use any Oreo flavor but I had to go all out and use peanut butter Oreos for this pie!
Just mix together 1 pack of Oreos with 1 stick of melted butter.
You should get about 30 Oreos in a pack. Whoops…29. I had to gobble sample one.
Add melted butter and oreo cookies to a food processor.
Blend until they are finely crushed.
Resist the tempation to take a bite!
Press cookie mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie or tart pan.
I use a measuring cup to really press down and smooth the Oreos to the pan.
Place in the fridge for 20 minutes while you prepare the filling.
For the filling: in a large mixing bowl add cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter.
Mix on low speed with a mixer until smooth.
Scoop and spread into chilled pie crust, covering the bottom.
Place back in fridge for 10 minutes.
Next add chocolate chips and 1/2 cup heavy cream to a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave mixture until cream begins to boil, about 1-2 minutes.
Remove and whisk until it is a smooth ganache.
Pour chocolate ganache over the chilled peanut butter filling.
Spread into an even layer.
Y’all know since this is a chocoholic pie I could just stop there.
I had to add my favorite candy too!
Chop up 4 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to add to the pie.
Sprinkle on the chopped Reese’s cups.
Refrigerate until firm, at least 20 minutes.
Slice and serve topped with whipped cream if desired.

Chocolate and milk. The perfect dessert!
You think she’s going to share that last bite?
Aww how sweet you finally let Mommy try it!
Guess it was a hit with my little foodies!
