Notes
For The Love of Food Blog
Start by choosing your chocolate. I originally wanted white chocolate but I do not think it gets the right liquidy consistency.
So I switched to my favorite semi sweet chocolate which worked well and tasted great!
Melt chocolate either in a bowl in the microwave for 45-60 seconds or in a double boiler on the stove until smooth.
Add a baggie to a jar and scoop melted chocolate into it then seal, twist, and cut a very small tip off the corner.
Arrange pretzels in a snowflake shape on the lined pan using around 10 pretzels for each design.
Squeeze a circle of chocolate in the center of each pretzel design, to hold them together.
Continue to squeeze chocolate in circles around the pretzels, starting from the inside and going outwards.
Now you have a spiderweb!
Quickly before it dries add sprinkles and a spider decoration.
Repeat with remaining chocolate and pretzels.
Let dry completely then lift off the paper and serve.
To speed up the hardening time for the chocolate, place in the fridge.
These individual treats are cute in goodie bags as Halloween boo bag gifts too!
Fun and just a little bit creepy!
