Happy 1st day of summer, friends! This dreamy, creamy salad is an old fashioned recipe with a creamsicle twist.
Serve it as a dessert or even a side dish at barbecues and picnics this summer.
Ava loves to be my taste tester for all things sweet and this recipe got two thumbs up!
Orange Creamsicle Ambrosia Salad
Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans mandarian oranges drained
- 6 oz pkg Orange Jell-O
- 24 oz container Vanilla Greek yogurt
- 12 oz Cool-Whip semi-frozen
- 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows divided
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together yogurt and orange Jell-O powder.
- Add in a tub of semi frozen cool whip (it works best when it isn't fully thawed!).
- Now mix in the drained oranges, saving 1/4 cup for topping.
- Finally, gently fold in 2 cups of marshmallows.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours up to overnight.
- Before serving add remaining 1/2 cup marshmallows and 1/4 cup oranges on top as a colorful garnish!

I start with a 6oz box of orange Jell-O. Add the entire package of powdered Jell-O to a large bowl.
Mix in a tub of vanilla Greek yogurt and stir well.
Now add in a semi frozen tub of Cool Whip (it works best when it isn’t fully thawed!).
Now mix it all up until smooth!
