These biscuit beignets are made in minutes with just a couple ingredients then tossed in lots and lots of powdered sugar!
Cut them into Mickey shapes for a fun Disney twist just like they serve at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort.
I grabbed a bag togo of Mickey beignets last time I visited the resort. How could I pass them up?!
The only place you can get Mickey Beignets at Disney is Port Orleans French Quarter Resort.
We took a free water taxi there and loved exploring the resort before heading to the parks.
Heads up pumpkin lovers. Disney makes pumpkin beignets every fall and they are to die for!
Mickey Biscuit Beignets
Ingredients
- 16 oz tube Grands flaky biscuits
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Pour oil about half way full into a heavy bottomed pot.
- Heat oil over medium until around 370 degrees (I check by adding the end of a wooden spoon in the oil to see if it bubbles).
- Separate your biscuits on a cutting board. Flatten with the back of your hand.
- Using a Mickey cookie cutter, cut out one Mickey out of each biscuit. Discard scraps.
- Add 2 or 3 (depending on the size of your pot) biscuits to the oil at a time. Do not overcrowd.
- Cook until golden, flip and cook the other side. You need to cook for at least a couple minutes so they are not doughy inside so adjust your temperate if they get too dark.
- Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain and repeat with remaining biscuits.
- Add to a plate or paper bag like Disney and dust immediately with powdered sugar. Lots and lots of powdered sugar.

For The Love of Food Blog
I love making beignets at home but sometimes I don’t have the time or ingredients to make them from scratch.
These biscuit beignets are super easy to make with just a couple ingredients!

Time to get your sugar shaker!
You need at least 1/2 cup powdered sugar but I usually double it!
Add to a plate or paper bag like Disney and dust immediately with powdered sugar.
Lots and lots of powdered sugar.
These are best enjoyed hot and fresh and prepare to get messy!
