What you need:
- 1 black foam board
- 4 packs of Christmas garland {9ft each}
- decorative items like ornaments, pom pom balls, and small signs
- 8 medium popsicle sticks
- glue
- ribbon, for hanging
- exacto knife
- pencil
Directions:
- Using a pencil trace the outline of your Mickey wreath on the foam board.
- You will need one large circle with a small circle inside {I traced a dinner plate with a salad plate} and two medium circle ears on top, slightly overlapping with the head shape, with smaller circles inside {I traced a salad plate with a bowl).
- Using the exacto knife, gently cut out the Mickey shape and then cut out the three inside circles.
- Glue popsicles sticks, in an X shape, underneath each ear and on the sides of the large circle for support so it does not bend.
- Now wrap your garland around the entire Mickey shape. I did two different colors.
- Glue or tuck in the garland after covering the Mickey shape completely.
- Now you can add decorations if you want to. I glued on a Believe gold ornament and some pom pom balls in Mickey shapes.
- Tie a ribbon on the top to hang or display on a mantle or shelf.

Here’s my final Mickey shape, traced and cut, before I punched it out of the foam board.
Glue popsicles sticks, in an X shape, underneath each ear and on the sides of the large circle.
This gives it extra support so it does not bend.
How cool is that? And so easy too!

I found everything at the Dollar Tree including the garland, Believe ornament, ribbon, and pom pom balls.

Too cute for words!
Super Mom - No Cape!
So cute! I love that you made your own wreath form. Wreath forms can be expensive but this makes it something most people can afford.
