Easter Egg in a Hole
Ingredients
- 4 slices Texas Toast
- 4 large eggs I use Eggland's Best brand
- 1/4 cup shredded white cheddar cheese optional
- salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Using a Easter bunny themed cookie cutter, cut out shapes in the center of each slice of toast.
- Coat a large pan with non stick spray and heat over medium heat.
- Add one piece of cut out sliced bread and the cookie cutter shape piece.
- Toast one side for a minute until toasted, spray pan again, then flip.
- Break an egg into the center of the cut out bread.
- Cook, adding a sprinkle of cheese and salt and pepper if desired.
- Remove from pan to a plate once the egg is cooked to your liking.
- Repeat with remaining bread and eggs.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
