“Nobody likes me, everybody hates me. Guess I’ll go eat worms!”
Slimy, scary, and oh so succulent Halloween Jell-O worms are a tasty treat to try this month with your kiddos!
Eating slimy Jell-O worms for a Halloween treat!
Halloween Slimy Worms
Ingredients
- 1 box 3 oz red Jell-O (I used raspberry)
- 1/2 pkg unflavored gelatin for extra firmness
- 6 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- green food coloring
- 50 + flexible plastic straws
Instructions
- Combine 1/2 pkg gelatin and one pkg red Jell-O in bowl and add boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
- Let it cool to lukewarm and then add the whipping cream and about 8-10 drops of green food coloring (to get the milky red color). Stir again.
- Stretch out the bendy part of all of your straws. Place them all into a bowl or container. The tighter they are packed in, the better. I like to add a large rubber band around them.
- Pour the Jell-O mixture into the straws. Let it set until firm. You can refrigerate overnight if you have time.
- Using a rolling pin, roll over the straws and squeeze them out. You can also hold the straws under warm water to release the worms.
- Add slimy worms to a bowl and serve your spooky treat!

Oh my goodness these look so realistic, kind of freaky. But I bet the kids will love them x
