My friend Molly shared this addictive recipe with me and I must say I’m hooked!
These bite size Pizza Poppers are full of flavor and super easy to make! Since I’m in full nesting mode right now I doubled the batch and frozen half for after I have my baby and need a quick meal to reheat.

These Poppers are a hit with both adults and kids and make a tasty game day appetizer!
Pepperoni Pizza Poppers
Makes 2 dozen
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbs Italian seasoning
- pinch of salt
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1 cup pepperoni slices quartered
- 1/2 cup pizza or marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a mini muffin tin.
- Whisk together dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and seasonings) in a large bowl.
- Whisk in the milk and egg.
- Stir well to combine.
- Stir in cheeses and pepperoni.
- Let the batter stand for 10 minutes.
- Give the batter a stir and using a small ice cream scoop or spoon divide among mini muffin cups.
- Pop your Poppers in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve hot out of the oven with a bowl of warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Pop your Poppers in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
They’re ready when they are puffed and golden brown!
These make a great dinner with a side salad or fun little appetizers!
Serve hot out of the oven with a bowl of warm pizza sauce for dipping.
