It’s another food holiday today and this one is extra special to me.
August 10 is National S’mores Day and y’all know I am obsessed with love anything and everything S’mores! So I decided to create a homemade S’mores Ice Cream and to make it extra special I added chopped S’mores Oreo cookies instead of traditional graham crackers to my ice cream mix. The result was a smooth vanilla base with rich chocolate pieces, ooey-gooey marshmallows, and crunchy chunks of S’mores Oreos. My kids love to eat this summertime treat and it tastes just like a S’mores minus the mess and hassle of melting over the fire!
