Strawberry Unicorn Puppy Chow #SummerDessertWeek

This strawberry flavored treat is crunchy and sweet. A delicious summertime snack for serving at parties, picnics, and movie nights!

Ingredients:

8 cups Rice Chex cereal
12oz bag strawberry flavored pink candy melts, divided
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3oz box strawberry Jello (I used Starburst pink)
unicorn shaped sprinkles, for topping

Directions:

Add cereal to a large bowl. Set aside.
Now, add powdered sugar and powdered Jello mix to another medium bowl. Stir then set aside.
Pour all but 1/4 cup of the pink candy melts into a bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
Remove, stir, then place back in the microwave and heat again for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth.
Pour melted candy on top of the bowl of cereal and mix well with a rubber spatula.
Scoop into a large freezer bag (or two) then pour in the powdered mixture.
Seal the bag then shake, shake, shake until combined.
Pour into a large bowl.
Top with unicorn shaped sprinkles.
Melt remaining 1/4 cup pink candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then another 30 minutes if not yet melted.
Once it’s melted you can use a spoon to drizzle on top of the bowl of puppy chow or spoon into a small piping or ziploc bag, cut off bottom corner and drizzle all over the puppy chow.
Scoop into cups and serve as a party or movie snack. Enjoy!
