Ingredients:
- 8 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 12oz bag strawberry flavored pink candy melts, divided
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3oz box strawberry Jello (I used Starburst pink)
- unicorn shaped sprinkles, for topping
Directions:
- Add cereal to a large bowl. Set aside.
- Now, add powdered sugar and powdered Jello mix to another medium bowl. Stir then set aside.
- Pour all but 1/4 cup of the pink candy melts into a bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Remove, stir, then place back in the microwave and heat again for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth.
- Pour melted candy on top of the bowl of cereal and mix well with a rubber spatula.
- Scoop into a large freezer bag (or two) then pour in the powdered mixture.
- Seal the bag then shake, shake, shake until combined.
- Pour into a large bowl.
- Top with unicorn shaped sprinkles.
- Melt remaining 1/4 cup pink candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then another 30 minutes if not yet melted.
- Once it’s melted you can use a spoon to drizzle on top of the bowl of puppy chow or spoon into a small piping or ziploc bag, cut off bottom corner and drizzle all over the puppy chow.
- Scoop into cups and serve as a party or movie snack. Enjoy!
