We love Pizza Night at our house. Sometimes we order in, sometimes we go out, and sometimes we make our own. Homemade pizza night is always a good time and my daughter especially loves making the dough, rolling it out, and adding her own toppings. Even though it may sound intimidating, pizza dough is pretty simple to make and work with. For this recipe I decided to try baking my pizza in a skillet and a heart shaped baking dish {for Valentine’s, of course} instead of the more traditional round baking sheet. The result was a softer, thicker crust that cooked up fast and tasted great! Hope you enjoy these Sweetheart Skillet Pizzas!

- I cut out heart shaped pepperonis with a mini cookie cutter and added additional toppings like spinach, olives, and onions.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly then using a spatula remove pizzas to a cutting board.
- Cut into squares or triangles using a pizza cutter and serve warm.
