Thanksgiving is just two weeks away and I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t wait to eat my Dad’s famous fried turkey, my uncle’s sweet potato casserole, my own green bean casserole, and my Mama’s cranberry sauce! So for pizza night this week, I decided to create a Thanksgiving inspired pizza with all my favorite Thanksgiving leftovers as toppings! Luckily, I always have my favorite Mama Mary’s® Pizza Crust on hand from Walmart for our weekly pizza night at home, and I must say this pizza creation is the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!
Like I said we love pizza as a quick, easy and delicious weeknight meal and we have it often as you can see from all my pizza recipes on the blog! Our Taco Pizza last month was a hit but this Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza was a fun twist for pizza night that everyone loved! You can easily make it with all your favorite leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner like sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, roasted turkey, and cranberry sauce or I have included the directions to make all the toppings individually too so you can enjoy this epic pizza creation with Mama Mary’s® Pizza Crust all year long!
This month is Mama Mary’s® third annual National Pizza Month promotion at Walmart. On specially marked packages of Mama Mary’s® Pizza Crust from October through November at Walmart stores nationally, there will be a fold-out booklet with more than $5 in coupon savings from Mama Mary’s® Pizza Crusts and Pepperoni, Dole® Pineapple, Cabot® Cheese, Kikkoman® Teriyaki, Barilla® Sauce, and Filippo Berio® Olive Oil.
This Thanksgiving Leftover Pizza maybe be better than our original Thanksgiving dinner!

I use Mama Mary’s® Original pizza crust for this Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza.
It is hearty enough to hold all the delicious toppings and the perfect crunchy texture!
If you are using Thanksgiving dinner leftovers just simply chop up about 2 cups of turkey meat.
If not you can roast a turkey breast at home to use.
This turkey breast tenderloin was huge!
I baked it for an hour at 325 degrees and used half for this recipe.
Let cool slightly then chop for topping the pizza.
I love mashed sweet potatoes and always bake extra for my girls.
One large sweet potato is plenty for this recipe. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour {poke holes in it with a fork and wrap in foil}.
I remove the sweet potato from the skin and mash in a bowl. Then, while it is still warm, I mix in butter and brown sugar. You can also use leftover sweet potato casserole.
Place pizza crust on a pizza pan or large baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and brush to spread all over the bottom and sides of the crusts.
Spread sweet potatoes on the bottom of the pizza, covering the crust evenly.
Top with cubed turkey.
I used 2 cups of roasted chopped turkey breasts.
I steamed 1 cup of trimmed green beans then sprinkled them on the pizza.
Next sprinkle sliced mushrooms and cooked green beans on top.
You can also use leftover green bean casserole instead.
It’s not pizza without cheese, right?
I use a 3 Cheddar blend cheese.
Now add 1 cup of shredded cheese, sprinkled all over.
Place pizza in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Since this is a Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza and I am topping with green bean casserole {or a deconstructed version}, I couldn’t forget the French fried onions on top!
Remove the pizza from the oven and and sprinkle of 1/2 cup French fried onions
and another 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake for another 5 minutes, or until golden and melted.
I made my Mama’s cranberry sauce {recipe:here} and knew it would be the perfect final addition to this pizza!
Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle with warm cranberry sauce.
Cut into eight slices and serve warm.
Your pizza night will never be the same after eating this delicious creation!
Happy {early} Thanksgiving, Y’all!
