Sugar Cookies are a staple during the holidays and after experimenting with many, many recipes I finally found one that I think is perfection. This cookie dough is easy to roll out and cut into shapes and bakes up into soft and sweet cookies! They are delicious on their own but add a festive touch with sprinkles or a flavored icing.
I have made these topped with sprinkles for Christmas, cut into shapes and topped with orange flavored icing for a baby shower, and even mixed with blueberries and packed in gift bags as a going away party favor.
