Dice up all your veggies or save even more time by
buying pre-chopped veggies at the grocery store.
Any mushrooms will work for this recipe but my favorite are meaty Baby Bellas.
Originally I planned on using wild rice for this soup but when my store was out I decided to use brown rice. I love how it turned out!
I am a fan of rich dark meat so in most of my soups I use boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
You could easily substitute chicken breasts.
Add all your ingredients to a large slow cooker.
I cover with chicken broth. I used almost two boxes.
Stir well to combine.
Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours.
Remove bay leaves and discard.
Remove chicken thighs, shred or dice, and mix back into the soup.
If the soup is too thick add more broth.
Scoop into bowls and serve warm.

A time saving tip is to go through closets room by room and get rid of things you no longer use.

Buy those orange garbage bags that look like jack-o-lanterns. Then let the kids fill them up with leaves off your lawn. It's a great and fun way to get the lawn raked up!

I save time by including whole family to help! Reduce, recycle and re-use. I encourage them to get rid of what we are not using! Less clutter.

I like to clean and get rid of things we know we won't use again at the same time. If we leave it by the curb, someone will pick it up who can use it or the garbage men will take it on trash day.

Try to clean one room at a time, this way you don't get overwhelmed.

One time cleaning tip is do NOT bounce fro, room to room. Think of the job as small projects and get each one done before moving onto the next.

I do one load of laundry per day so it doesn't pile up. Start it in the morning and have it done by night!
tat2gurlzrock
I clean different things on different days that way nothing gets piled up.

I clean one room completely each day.

grab a large bag or laundry basket and round up everything in one room that doesn't belong there. spend the next day putting the items away in their rightful locations. doing that with one room per day or even per week will have the house clean in no time!

I have a rotation of chores and when I do it I do all the rooms. If I get out the mop then I mop all rooms not just one.
