This pretty in pink dessert charcuterie board is perfect for kids with a sweet tooth celebrating Valentine’s Day or even girlfriends who enjoy colorful treats to honor Galentine’s Day! Assembled in minutes and devoured just as fast, this dessert is the ultimate Valentine’s pink treat!
I’m so excited to participate in this Valentine’s event (again). This is the fifth year for our event and we want to continue to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. The National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%. It’s such a small number and that’s why I got involved.
And with the ongoing pandemic, children are still being diagnosed with cancer. It’s imperative that we raise awareness and continue to raise funds to fund the ongoing pediatric cancer research!
Help us make a difference by donating to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer!
Our goal is to raise at least $3000. Because these three companies: OXO, Mediavine amd Dixie Crystals have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000! That means when we raise $1, it turns into $4!
Thank you to so many of you who have already donated, please help us reach our goal so we can get the full matching donations and help us make an even huge difference!
My girlf were excited for their pink tray of treats! Can’t you tell?!
Even our pup Elvis was impressed!

Valentine’s Pink Dessert Charcuterie Board for the win!
You can choose any pink candy and treats your heart desires! I collected pink treats I found for about a month. Some are easy to find in the grocery store checkout lane like Snowballs, rock candy, wafers, and cotton candy. Others like pink candy corn, Valentines popcorn, and pink stuffed marshmallows I found at more specialty stores like Tj Maxx, Hobby Lobby, and Marshalls.
Start with a platter. I want with a big red heart and placed it on a pretty gold charger.
Remember that for this board you will not use all this candy. So individual bags work best so you do not have lots of leftovers. I also like to buy wrapped pink treats like Moonpies, Reeses hearts, and cookies so I can use a few and save the rest for another event or holiday.
Since this was a Valentines treat board I did not add any fruit except these adorable pink dipped strawberries.
I used pink candy melts and dipped a few for the center of the board. If you wanted to add other fruit you could try raspberries, cherries, and pomegranate seeds.
I also found these cute pink shortbread cookie letters at Walmart.
The box has 40 individual bags but let me warn you- I went through five bags just to find a vowel or I could spell out a word on my board.
I wanted LOVE but had to settle for PINK and YUM. Haha!
Now all you have to do is arrange it!
There is no right or wrong way but I start with my big items, like the wafers, strawberries, and cookies and then fill in empty spots with the smaller items like candy corn and popcorn.
I also thought it looked nice to add some pink carnation flowers around the border of the platter.
Enjoy this pretty in pink treat with your kids, girlfriends, or Valentine this month!
