Air Fryer Caramelized Pineapple Foster
Ingredients
1
large pineapple
1/4
cup
brown sugar
1
tsp
cinnamon
2-3
tbsp
unsalted butter
melted
vanilla ice cream
for serving
Instructions
Start by cutting the outside rind off the pineapple then slice into approx 8 slices. Remove the center core to make rings.
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
Preparing in batches, brush melted butter on 3-4 pineapple slices and sprinkle on brown sugar mixture.
Flip over and add to the other side.
Add the prepared pineapple to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Repeat with remaining pineapple.
Serve warm in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream on the side.
Add any remaining brown sugar butter sauce "drippings" from the air fryer as a drizzle on top.
