Caramel Apple Blossoms
Makes 2 plates
Ingredients
2
large apples
½
cup
Lighthouse Caramel Dip {I used Pumpkin Spice Caramel}
¼
cup
honey roasted peanuts
crushed
Whipped cream
for topping
Instructions
Use an apple corer to remove core and slice both apples.
Arrange the slices in a circle on two dessert plates.
Warm the caramel in the microwave for 15 second intervals , stirring in between, until smooth.
Add a couple spoonfuls of caramel in the center of the apple slices.
Drizzle more caramel all over the top.
Sprinkle on crushed peanuts.
Add a couple dollops of whipped cream on either side of the slices.
Serve right away and enjoy.
Notes
I used two varieties of apples for color and taste. I like Gala and Granny Smith.
