Tot Pockets Inspired by Napoleon Dynamite
Makes 8 pockets
Ingredients
1
pkg {2 sheets} puff pastry squares
thawed
1
cup
ham
diced
1
cup
cheddar cheese
shredded
1
{heaping} cup of tater tots
cooked
1
egg
beaten
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets and roll out to make it thinner.
Cut each sheet into 4 squares.
Add a couple spoonfuls of diced ham and shredded cheese on the left side of each square.
Top with 3 tater tots each.
Brush the beaten egg on all edges of the square.
Fold over the top half of the dough to form a pocket.
Crimp the edges with a fork to seal and poke a few holes on top to vent.
Place on a large lined baking sheet.
Brush tops of each pocket with egg so it will bake a golden color.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and puffed up.
Serve warm and enjoy!
