When my husband requested baked ham for our Christmas in August celebration, I knew I wanted to make a tasty version for him, but since I had a huge dinner to make on my own, I wanted to make it as easy as possible. So, as it often does, my Crock-Pot came to the rescue!
You are going to love this brown sugar and pineapple crusted ham. It’s so tender it just falls apart and the best thing- just throw it in the Crock-Pot for six hours and forget about it!

Can me change the sugar with alternative? The option is kurma or you have suggestions?
Well, it would change the recipe a lot but you could try honey instead. Let me know what you think!

That looks divine! I actually prefer ham over turkey on Thanksgiving. I do get some turkey, too, though.

I make ham very similar to this the only extra steps I take are rubbing a couple tablespoons of honey on the ham then i pat the ham with about a cup of brown sugar using the honey almost like glue to hold on the brown sugar
Great tip! Thanks!
Does the ham go cut side down or sideways. The video and directions are different
I like to do it cut side up so I can pour the pineapple and brown sugar in the slices. But really either way works fine.
does the ham needed to b covered?
Yes, cover it with the crockpot lid or if it is too big to add the lid then cover it with aluminum foil.
